Savings Account
Good savings habits are the foundation of financial success. At Transport CU, we encourage members to actively make routine deposits into their Savings through Payroll Deduction and/or Direct Deposit.
Your member-owner share of the credit union is based upon your initial deposit of $5.00. Members are asked to reach a $100 balance within 180 days, at which time you will begin to receive the current dividend rate, paid quarterly. Your Share Savings Account will not be charged a monthly service fee as long as a $500 combined average aggregate daily balance is maintained.
As a value-added benefit, your savings account comes with FREE $1,000 Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance.
